Meet Janae, founder and lover of Salon Kathleen salon and spa. Janae has been mastering her craft as a hairdresser for the past 23 years. She opened Salon Kathleen in 2006 and has grown it into a beautiful, loving, passionate team of 13.

Hairdressing has always been one of Janae’s loves. A certified extension specialist and Loreal pro stylist are just a couple of her hard-working credentials she has achieved.

Handtied extensions is one of Janae’s most loved services. She enjoys the hard work and delicate approach to the service, but mostly the joy she see’s on her guest is why handtied extensions have tugged at her heart the most of all services. Janae enjoys enhancing her guests ‘ lived in natural color by adding dimension and texture. Balayage is one of Janae’s favorite techniques. From blondes to brunettes and everything in between Janae loves to custom color her guests’ hair to perfectly match their style and own individual personality.

Education to further her work has always been very important to Janae throughout her career. Janae enjoys a challenge and is extremely dedicated and always striving to be the very best she can possibly be in all aspects of her life.

When Janae is not at the salon you can find her spending quality time with her husband Ryan and her two boys Willie and Waylon and her two loved Frenchies Charlie and Gia. Janae enjoys everything outdoors and is always finding time for a good run or workout!
